Liam Connolly (Roadfreight) Ltd was honoured on Friday 14th October with Darren Connolly receiving the award for Business Person of the Year 2016. With over 300 people in attendance at the Killyhevlin Lakeside Hotel in Enniskillen, Darren Connolly was surprised and elated to be singled out. The gala ball was laid on by the Fermanagh Herald and was hosted by Paul Clarke from UTV along had a host of special guests including 'Rip Off Republic' own Eddie Hobbs amongst others. Along with this, Liam Connolly (Roadfreight) Ltd also received runner up in the 'Growth through export' category, narrowly missing out to Encirc. Yet again, we at Liam Connolly (Roadfreight) Ltd wish to thank all our valued members of staff, without whom the wheels wouldn't turn. Time to look about a new trophy cabinet !
Liam Connolly (Roadfreight) Voted Haulier of the Year 2016! The company was presented with the much coveted award, sponsored by Mercedes Benz UK Ltd, at a glittering ceremony at the Ramada Hotel in Belfast. William & Darren Connolly were on hand to accept the prize on behalf of the company.
The award is based on peer assessment, key point indicators and is judged by a panel of 14 selected from across the UK.
